Seti River Rafting

Seti River Rafting has enormous backdrop of the Annapurna and Manaslu mountains. It forms part of the tributary system of Karnali River draining the western part of Nepal.

The volume of Seti river is moderate. The beaches here have fine sands and the water comparatively warmer and tranquil allowing for rafters to take up rafting even during winter. The landscape is quite expansive with formidable hills on both sides as the water swerves through.

The journey along the Seti River will also present an opportunity for rafters to observe local culture and tradition of Magar people. Magars are one of original and indigenous inhabitants of Nepal whose simple lifestyle will take you back in time. The glimpses of the Mahabharat range which the river cuts through will be an impressive sight to marvel at.

The total stretch used for rafting in the River covers about 69km or 39miles. Rafting trips go for as many as 3 days on this river. The best season for rafting on Seti River is during Spring and Autumn.
